Center Stripping Equipment
MX-5025
The Mechtrix MX-5025 Center Stripping Machine removes a section
of insulation (window stripping) along the length of an
insulated wire. The machine is designed to remove 5/16" to 1.0"
(8mm to 25mm) section of insulation from 8 AWG -20 AWG stranded
or solid conductor wires. Removal of insulation sections smaller
or larger than specifications from wires heavier or lighter than
specification may be possible. Maximum speed of the
MX-5025 is 3500 plus center strips per hour, depending on wire
and wire processing machine.
MX-5125 Heavy Duty
The new Mechtrix MX-5125 Heavy Duty Center Stripping Machine is
similar in looks to the MX-5025 but is designed for larger wires
or cables with longer insulation removal requirements. The
MX-5125 will remove 1/2" to 1.5" (13mm to 38mm) of insulation
from 14 AWG - 4/0 AWG stranded or solid conductor wires. Removal
of insulation sections smaller or larger than specifications
from wires heavier or lighter than specification may be
possible. Maximum speed of the MX-5125 is 2600 to 3000 center
strips per hour, depending on wire and wire processing machine.
MX-5525
The
Mechtrix MX-5525 Bench Top Center Stripping Machine is an
electro-pneumatic device that will remove a section of
insulation along the length of an insulated wire. The MX-5525 is
designed to be a manually loaded stand alone machine. The
MX-5525 is capable of removing a 10mm to 20mm wide section of
insulation from 12 thru 22 AWG (0.3mm2 thru 3.0mm2
) stranded or solid conductor wires. Insulation types
suitable for process to be confirmed by Mechtrix following
testing of customer’s wire.
